FIRE FORMED
Fire Formed was set up in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. Inspired by my time studying a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Coventry University, I set up a pottery studio with the support of my friend Alexia. Since then, I have dedicated my time to developing my Creative Practice. I am continuing to live my dream of running a small scale, local pottery in Birmingham. All my work is handmade, unique and crafted with love.

Nessa Grimes
I enjoy time on the wheel, throwing pots that are comfy to hold and beautiful to look at. I likes things that go together but don't match, and that can be used regularly and not kept for best. I associate pieces I own with people I love, and want to make things for others which remind them of people and places they love. I have a history in education and also enjoy printmaking and sewing.

Rob Campbell Wright
Rob kindly donated the equipment which helped to get Fire Formed going.

Kris Turner
The man with a van! Kris has helped me move studios twice, and also transported my first kiln across several counties.

Michael Grimes
Michael designed the logo for Fire Formed. He continues to wrestle with the website.
